Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

Glimmer Nook is a game made by Shadi Alzahrani. It doesn't collect, store or share any personal information.

Your progress

Your designs, Gallery, coins, Story and Career progress and settings are saved only on your device.

Photos

If you choose a photo to bedazzle, it is copied into the game's save on your device; the game never sees the rest of your library. "Save to Photos" asks permission to add a finished piece to your photo library (add only, never read). "Share" hands the picture to the share sheet, and it goes only where you send it.

Game Center

If you're signed in to Game Center and leave it switched on in the game's Settings, the game reports the milestones you reach to Apple's Game Center. That information is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. You can switch it off in Settings › Play.

Purchases

Full Studio, the game's one in-app purchase, is bought through Apple's App Store, which handles payment under Apple's privacy policy. The game only asks Apple, on your device, whether Full Studio has been bought; it never sees your payment details.

No analytics, no ads, no tracking, no accounts

The game makes no other network connections besides Game Center and the App Store.

Keeping and deleting

Everything stays on your device for as long as the game is installed. Delete a piece from the Gallery to remove it; delete the app to erase everything it saved. Pictures you saved to Photos stay in Photos, where you can delete them. You can switch Game Center off at any time (Settings › Play), and remove the photo permission in the iOS Settings app.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone.
